Why Switch to eDocuments?

If you’ve already signed up for eDocuments, you know how convenient they can be.

Once you switch, you can view and download your personal tax documents right away. We’ll notify you by secure message, and by email if you’ve signed up for eDocuments notifications.

New for the 2019 Tax Year

If you received any income from any RBC Mutual Funds in your non-registered account(s), your T3s and T5s will soon be available online.

How To Switch

It’s easy. Just log in to your account and follow the steps below:

  • Select the “All Electronic” button to begin receiving all of your documents electronically. You can also use the drop-down menu next to each type of document (tax documents, confirmations, account statements and annual reports or regulatory documents) to choose electronic or paper delivery. Next, select "Continue" and provide your consent for electronic delivery. Once you provide consent for electronic delivery, you will no longer receive printed copies in the mail.

Note: Electronic tax documents are available for personal accounts only.

How Will I Know When My Documents Are Ready?

  • You can be notified by email when your documents are available to securely view and download by signing up for eDocuments notifications. To sign up, go to Manage Notifications under the My Portfolio menu and check the eDocuments box.
  • If you don't sign up for email notifications, you will still receive a message in your secure Message Centre to let you know when a document is ready.

Once you sign up for electronic delivery, you will have access to an archive of tax documents beginning with your 2018 tax documents.
