RRIF Details Now Online
See your 2021 RRIF withdrawal information online.
Registered Retirement Income Fund (RRIF) account holders at RBC Direct Investing can now view their RRIF details online, which means you won't need to call or wait for an annual letter to figure out your cash flow for the year ahead. The RRIF View gives you a quick digital snapshot of your plan – including your required minimum annual withdrawal amount and scheduled payment dates. Information is updated with each payment, reflecting tax details and where the payment is credited. If you're a RRIF holder, you can find the information at the top of your Holdings page, where a RRIF Details link will take you where you need to go. Please note RRIF account information is available for accounts opened or converted from an RRSP before Dec. 31 of last year. Accounts opened in the current calendar year will have the information updated on the second business day of the year after they are opened.
Let's Get Technical
Technical analysis goes next-level with the new Technical Insight tool.
The technical analysis capabilities on the site have gotten a significant upgrade, offering more features and tools to help inform your investment decisions. On the technical analysis page, found under Research on the RBC Direct Investing site, you can search a symbol to find technical events for a specific security, interactive charts and details such as support and resistance levels. Plus, want to dig in to learn more about technical analysis? Look for the Education button at the top of the technical analysis page to find a library of resources to explore, including nearly 30 classic patterns such as Double Top, Double Bottom and Head and Shoulders Top.
Analyzing Your Portfolio is Now Easier
Portfolio Analyzer tool now in place.
The refreshed Portfolio Analyzer tool allows you to easily view your portfolio's mix of investments to monitor risk. Drill down to sector and regional exposures, or check your holdings to see where you might be concentrated. Plus, you no longer need to set a goal in order to use the analyze feature. Find the Portfolio Analyzer under My Portfolio.
Equity Analyst Reports Get a Refresh
Morningstar research reports have a new look and new data.
RBC Direct Investing offers a number of insights from investment research firm Morningstar, including detailed equity analyst reports. Going forward, as reports are issued and updated, you'll see a new layout, additional visuals and charts, plus new data points like moat trend and historical financials. Search for research reports in the Investor's Toolkit under Research.

More ways to filter your investment choices.
Thanks to the recently upgraded stock screener, you've now got more ways to filter your investment choices. Similar to an online shopping experience, you can enter specific criteria that matter to you (think market capitalization, industries, beta or dividend yield), and you'll end up with a filtered list of ideas. From that list, you can check out stock quotes, find historical performance figures, research fundamentals and even place a trade. You can also save your filtered results to a watchlist.
