When you think of your digital assets, you might immediately think of your social-media accounts or maybe certain passwords and other login details. But with the world rapidly shifting to online, have you considered digital currencies, your investment accounts, intellectual property stored in the cloud or even the draft of your next book as part of your estate plan?

If not, don't fear. Until recently, The Wealthy Barber hadn't either. But he's had a change of heart and suggests we all should, too.

David Chilton, author of best-selling personal finance guides The Wealthy Barber and The Wealthy Barber Returns, and former dragon on CBC's Dragons' Den, has some tips to get you started down the path to planning for your digital assets after you're gone. Check them out in the video above, part of a series produced in collaboration between RBC Wealth Management Royal Trust and David Chilton.
